Chris Pettit

Prior to beginning this new adventure, Chris was the #2 man at a local landscape company which he helped grow during the years of 1997 to 2005.  With all of those years of experience, Pettit was able to determine the 2 most important aspects of success–customer relationships and respect for employees, both are the cornerstones upon which Taproot has been built.  Pettit is extremely proud of the Taproot organization as a whole, but most importantly, he is proud of the long term relationships they have built with customers and the fact that Taproot has been able to retain 95% of all hired employees since 2006.  Chris and his family reside in Smithfield, NC.

 

Mario Gangi

Going on his forth full year with Taproot, Mario is one of the leaders for our maintenance division.  Gangi and his crew are responsible for some of Raleigh’s elite properties.  With over 10 years of property maintenance experience, Mario is not only a leader in the field but an invaluable teacher for our employees. He has a keen understanding of turf grass maintenance and pruning of ornamental trees and shrubs.  Mario is a valuable asset to our maintenance team and we look forward to many more years with him on our staff.  In his free time, Mario enjoys riding his 4 wheeler and making designer soaps.
